The site of "Can Els Closos Gaia," is located just outside the small town of Portocolom in the greater municipality of Felanitx. Situated in the eastern coast of Mallorca, on the shores of the Mediterranean, the site is one of the main tools for understanding the prehistory of the Balearic Islands and the Western Mediterranean in general.
